As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our team of Solar PV designers.

Position Overview: We are looking for an Engineering Manager with extensive experience in Utility Scale Solar PV design, who can lead and inspire our team of designers to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Solar PV design principles, and the ability to manage workloads efficiently. This role is based in Alabang, Philippines, and will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects.

The main responsibilities of a ENGINEERING MANAGER include:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Utility Scale Solar PV designers.
    • Oversee workload management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  2. Solar PV Design Expertise:
    • Utilize your extensive solar design experience to guide the team in implementing best practices and ensuring high-quality designs.
    • Review and approve design plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and solve complex design challenges.
  3. Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage administrative tasks, including timecards and time off requests, to ensure smooth team operations.
    • Collaborate with HR and project managers to coordinate staffing and resource allocation.
    • Assist in budget planning and monitoring for the engineering department.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the Utility Scale Solar PV sector.
    • Implement process improvements and design enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Utility Scale Solar PV design, with a strong understanding of design principles, equipment, and software tools.
  • Proven leadership experience, including at least 5 years of leading a team, ideally in Solar PV or a related construction trade.
  • Strong project management and workload management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to Solar PV projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
  • 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
  • Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
  • Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
  • Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
  • Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
