We're seeking an experienced Engineering Site Leader to join our dynamic team in the Philippines and lead engineering efforts across multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. In this role, you will set the technical direction and architectures for new products and features, coordinate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and other groups, and manage and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, data analysts, QA engineers, and more. As the Engineering Site Leader, you will drive engineering processes, standards, tools, and best practices, lead planning and execution of project roadmaps and releases, and effectively communicate status, priorities, and plans across the organization. The main responsibilities of a ENGINEERING SITE LEADER include:
You will:
- Lead engineering teams on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Set technical direction and architectures for new products and features
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and other groups
- Manage and mentor software engineers, data analysts, QA engineers, and other roles
- Drive engineering processes, standards, tools, and best practices
- Lead planning and execution of project roadmaps and releases
- Communicate status, priorities, and plans across the organization
- Own and report key company OKRs weekly to internal stakeholders

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
You have:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years of management experience
- Experience leading projects and people successfully through rapid growth periods
- Deep hands-on experience with our core languages and technologies
- A track record of recruiting and retaining talented engineers
- Experience driving high product quality, test automation, and DevOps
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience operating effectively under ambiguity
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Programming language: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python,
- Engines or frameworks: Node JS, Java, Vue
- Code management / Build tools: Git – Github / Bitbucket
- Frameworks/Tools: Playwright – Webdriverio - Appium - Postman
- Containerization and Orchestration: Docker/Kubernetes
- Testing & work methodology: BDD, TDD, CICD
- Data: SQL / PL-SQL
- Cloud: GCP
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
