The main responsibilities of a OUTPATIENT MEDICAL CODER include:

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- AHIMA or AAPC Medical Coding certification - CPC, COC, CIC, CCS.

Experience with coding Outpatient/Ancillary work. Laboratory tests, X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasounds, or services such as physical therapy would be considered for Ancillary visits.
- Familiarity with medical coding tools such as Epic and 3M.
