The main responsibilities of a SENIOR RPA DEVELOPER include:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of RPA developers.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of RPA projects from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Solution Design:
    • Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions to meet business requirements. Conduct process assessments to identify automation opportunities.
  • Feasibility Analysis:
    • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the potential for automation.
    • Analyze existing processes to determine suitability for RPA and provide recommendations based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical design documents, process design documents, and process maps.
    • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Best Practices Implementation and Code Reviews:
    • Ensure adherence to best practices in the design, development, and deployment of RPA solutions.
    • Implement coding standards and guidelines.
    • Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient code.
    • Identify and address potential issues or improvements in the codebase.
    • Provide constructive feedback to developers and RPA admin supports.
  • Project Stakeholders Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the RPA solutions align with business objectives.
    • Facilitate meetings to gather requirements and provide updates.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication.
  • Issue Resolutions:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the development and deployment of RPA processes.
    • Implement robust error handling and exception management.
    • Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues in collaboration with RPA Admins.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions for end users and other developers to ensure effective use of RPA tools.
    • Develop necessary training materials and user guides.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance/consultations to business users and citizen developers for low-code/complexity automations.
  • Governance and Performance Monitoring:
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in RPA technology and implement new tools and techniques as appropriate.
    • Evaluate and recommend new RPA tools and platforms.
    • Ensure the team is trained on new technologies and methodologies.
    • Establish and manage governance frameworks for RPA projects.
    • Assist in defining and enforcing policies and procedures for RPA development and deployment alongside the Enterprise/Sr. Director of Applications.
    • Ensure compliance with Amkor IT regulatory and Infosec standards.
    • Monitor the performance of RPA systems to ensure they meet the set KPIs and deliver expected results.
    • Implement monitoring tools and dashboards.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and optimizations.
  • Process Improvements:
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize RPA processes.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement feedback loops to ensure continuous enhancement.
  • Reporting:
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and impact of RPA initiatives.
    • Develop and present performance metrics and dashboards.
    • Highlight key achievements and areas for improvement.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related course
  • OR any RPA related Advanced/Professional certification at the minimum (eg. Blue Prism PRO Developer or Advance Certification on Automation Anywhere)
  • Minimum of 5 years developing in RPA tools, preferably must have proficiency in Automation Anywhere.
  • Additional knowledge in RPA conversion tools and coding languages such as SQL, C#, Java, or HTML is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of expertise in automating with SAP and web app systems
  • Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good leadership skills and project oversight.
  • Good technical proficiency in architecture, development and deployment of RPA solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders to align automation solutions with business objectives and facilitate training sessions for end users and development teams.
  • Able to adapt to different time zones of off-shore Amkor factories if necessary.
  • Excellent understanding of ITSM\ITIL processes.
