What You Will Accomplish

• Tune threat detection rules to ensure alerts are actionable
• Design and implement automated workflows/scripts for security incident detection, 
response, and remediation
• Develop security automation integrations using SOAR and AWS Lambda
• Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness of automation strategies to senior 
management
• Follow incident response procedures when required and maintain accurate and 
detailed documentation for the incident response function
• Communicate regularly with employees to provide security expertise and guidance
• Mentor others as you yourself gain knowledge and experience
• Participate in weekly on-call rotations

What You Will Bring

• 2+ years of experience in security or software engineering
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and 
security automation platforms
• Operational understanding of log management platforms
• Knowledge of how to secure Linux, macOS, and Windows
• Knowledge of cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience participating in cross-functional incident response
• The ability to express yourself clearly when communicating
• A data-driven, analytical mindset
