As Training and Development Coordinator you will have responsibility for the day-to-day arrangement and administration of training courses across InHealth, including overseeing the annual training calendar through our Learning Management System. This is a vitally important role in supporting the operations teams by ensuring that adequate training provision is available to maintain mandatory compliance training at the required levels. You will also support the Talent Development Manager and Early Careers Specialist with other learning and development activities as needed.

The main responsibilities of a TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR include:

  • Creating, uploading, and maintaining the annual training calendar in our Learning Management System ensuring that there is adequate provision of courses to support operations
  • Providing vital information about training sessions and informing people about training available through frequent and clear communications
  • Liaising directly with our providers by email and telephone to arrange courses as required, and generally maintaining a good relationship with providers based on open communication.
  • Reviewing and responding to all course requests submitted by email, telephone, and via our electronic request form in a timely manner, and liaising with the employee/manager to arrange accordingly
  • Ensuring that delegates receive joining instructions, invites, and webinar links ahead of all course dates
  • Reviewing all future course dates to ensure optimum attendance and responding appropriately when any courses are under-subscribed
  • Raising purchase orders and processing supplier invoices in a timely manner for all courses and services provided
  • Responding to general training and LMS queries through email, telephone, and ServiceNow in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Early Careers Specialist as required with activities such as ordering equipment and arrangement of training courses for learners
  • Supporting the Talent Development Manager as required with activities such as sending out Insights Discovery questionnaires and helping to arrange Insights workshops
  • General administration of our Learning Management System including:
  • Adding all arranged course events and making sure that they are available to people for booking
  • Reviewing previous course dates on our LMS to ensure that attendance has been updated in a timely manner by our core provider (ECG)
  • Updating attendance on our LMS for any courses not delivered by our core provider (ECG)
  • Assisting employees and managers with course bookings including adding/removing individuals and groups to/from courses as required
  • Updating individual learner records when provided with evidence of previous course attendance
  • Highlighting any technical issues affecting users and providing assistance in helping to resolve
  • Ensure that all data held on the LMS is up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensuring that ServiceNow is reviewed frequently and that queries/requests are responded to and closed out in a timely manner
  • Working with the People Data Analyst to review L&D costs and ensure accurate recording
  • Mapping all L&D processes so that process improvement is possible as well as any automation opportunities
  • Supporting with the compilation of the HR report data for L&D, ensuring data is correct
  • Reviewing our digital learning platforms for generic courses and mandatory training e.g. Coursera, iLearn MS office suite, etc

  • Be great at prioritizing tasks and managing your own workload, raising any challenges for support as needed
  • Be passionate about implementing the best practices for development activities
  • Be able to motivate yourself to meet your agreed KPI targets and to work without close supervision
  • Be able to easily multi-task and manage the coordination of several different tasks and activities 
  • You will have a keen eye for detail and thrive on process improvement and cost saving such as implementing new L&D tools
  • Not be afraid to offer your opinion – we love hearing new ideas

It will also be favorable if you have the following:

  • Experience in coordination and administrative support in relation to training course arrangement
  • Building long-lasting and collaborative relationships with managers, stakeholders, and external suppliers
  • Managing the coordination of multiple tasks and activities to set timescales and deadlines. 
  • Administering and maintaining Learning Management Systems
  • Using Microsoft packages like Excel and Word
  • Must be willing to report in BGC, Taguig, and work on Dayshift Schedule
  • Available to start ASAP
