The main responsibilities of a ACCOUNT MANAGER include:
- Business Development & Account Acquisition
- Promote White Horse Laboratories (WHL) premium services to drive business growth, actively acquire new accounts, and consistently achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities by leveraging industry trade shows, corporate events, and strategic partner networks.
- Strategically analyze and reactivate dormant or inactive sites within existing customer accounts to maximize wallet share.
- Key Account Management & Retention
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction by deeply understanding and anticipating their requirements.
- Lead client engagement activities, including service presentations, customized quotations, contract negotiations, and regular business reviews (QBRs/MBRs).
- Act as a trusted advisor to guide clients in the right direction, efficiently coordinate with their suppliers, and deliver insightful key account performance reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Escalation Support
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional departments (Lab, Operations, Engineering) to ensure exact and high-quality service delivery based on deep account analysis.
- Mentor and empower the Customer Service (CS) team; provide training on specific account requirements, and step in to manage complex service escalations, expedites, and client expectations.
- Partner with the Accounting department to monitor account receivables and ensure timely payment collections.
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Feedback
- Continuously gather and feedback market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to senior management to support group-level strategic business planning.
- Maximize internal network resources to drive inside sales and cross-selling opportunities.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- 3+ years of successful sales or account management experience in the
- Electronics/Semiconductor industry (experience in electronic component distribution,testing, or EMS/OEM is highly preferred).
- Proven track record with established OEM/EMS customer resources is a strong plus.
- Familiar with factory operations, supply chain, and management workflows.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; excellent business writing and communication skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, and highly resilient with a strong result-oriented mindset.
- College degree or above; majors in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields are preferred.
