13th Month Pay

Description:

With a minimum rendered work of at least one (1) month during the calendar year, the employee shall be entitled to a 13th Month Pay equivalent to 1/12 of the employee’s gross monthly salary multiplied by the number of months worked or earned within a given calendar year to be released on or before Dec 24 of every calendar year, subject to the computation as provided by the Labor Code and other pertinent issuances of the Department of Labor and Employment.

 
 
Premium Benefits

Description:

The employee shall be entitled to Holiday Premium, Overtime Pay, and Night Differential.

 
 
Leave Credits

Description:

The employee shall be eligible to receive a maximum of ten (10) accrued leave credits on the first employment year with an accrual rate of 0.83 leaves per month upon commencement of employment. On the employee's 1st work anniversary and each subsequent anniversary, the employee shall receive twenty (20) accrued leave credits with an accrual rate of 1.67 leaves per month.

 
 
Carry over of unused leave credits

Description:

Unused leave credits at the end of the calendar year shall be carried over and utilized by the employee until the end of the succeeding year.

 
 
HMO Principal

Description:

The employee shall be eligible for an HMO plan upon hire with coverage of Php150,000 per illness per year.

 
 
HMO Dependent

Description:

The employee shall be eligible to enroll one (1) free dependent upon hire with the coverage of Php100,000 per illness per year. HMO eligibility and hierarchy of dependent shall be subject to the guidelines and standards of the HMO provider.

 
Group Life Insurance

Description:

The employee shall be eligible of up to Php300,000 coverage under a Group Life Insurance policy upon hire. Claims shall be subject to the general guidelines and required documentation set by the service provider. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiture of any claims. Exclusions and exemptions from claiming this benefit are defined under the exclusion sections of the general guidelines of the GLI policy.

The main responsibilities of a ACCOUNTANT include:

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support end-to-end finance operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bookkeeping, and Philippine tax compliance.

This role will work closely with the Australia-based finance team and will play an important part in ensuring accurate reporting and full compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

         Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims

         Prepare and manage payment runs

         Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

 

Accounts Receivable (AR)

         Prepare and issue invoices

         Monitor collections and aging reports

         Coordinate with stakeholders on outstanding balances

 

Payroll Administration

         Manage end-to-end payroll for PH-based employees

         Ensure accurate computation of salaries, taxes, and deductions

         Handle statutory contributions including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG

 

Bookkeeping & General Accounting

         Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger

         Perform bank and account reconciliations

         Support month-end and year-end closing activities

 

Tax & Compliance (Philippines)

         Prepare and file BIR requirements including VAT, withholding taxes, and income tax

         Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements

         Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors as needed

 

Audit & Year-End Support

         Assist in preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents

         Liaise with auditors during year-end audits


 

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Qualifications

         Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

         CPA is preferred but not required

         At least 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience

         Strong working knowledge of Philippine taxation, including VAT and BIR compliance

         Experience handling AP, AR, payroll, and bookkeeping functions

         Exposure to supporting international or Australian clients is an advantage

         Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar


 

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

Nice to Have

         Experience in private equity, investment firms, or professional services

         Exposure to multi-entity or multi-country accounting

         Experience supporting audit and financial reporting requirements
