ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Lead Manila accounting operations as a key partner and the operational backbone for a $45M USD multi-entity corporate group (Oddisea Superfrozen, Culimer Equipment, and Red Shell). Manage a local accounting team, you will own day-to-day financial accuracy, refine accounting processes, and ensure the integrity of our records. Operate natively within our systems, you will drive "live," continuous reconciliations to spearhead a hard 5-business-day monthly close. Your mission is to elevate our Manila hub into a precise, efficient, and scalable accounting function in lockstep with our US-based Director of Accounting.

Daily Accounting Operations

• Lead the Manila Accounting team in daily executions

• Assign and prioritize workload across the team, review and approve their output, and own escalation.

• Accountable for GL, AP/AR oversight, bank and credit card reconciliation, T&E and expense review, and entity month-end close.

• Absorb accounting/bookkeeping processes migrating from the US, document them as SOPs, and stabilize them in Manila.

Financial Control & Financial Reporting

• Rapid Close Management: Drive and execute a strict, absolute 5-business-day calendar month-end close.

• Data Integrity: Guarantee error-free, presentation-ready financial submissions for multi-entity consolidations.

• Continuous Accounting: Oversee daily, ongoing general ledger reconciliations to ensure books are permanently "live."

Systems & Data Analysis

• Tech Stack Mastery: Maintain absolute data fluidity and transaction accuracy across multiple systems.

Process Automation & AI Optimization

• Act as an early adopter and internal consultant for AI-driven workflows.

• Utilize Claude and Gemini to automate data parsing, streamline reconciliation, and create predictive financial models that reduce manual work.

• License: Active Philippine Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.

• Hands-on US GAAP Experience

• Experience: 6+ years in corporate accounting; demonstrated success in managing multi-entity consolidations.

• Tech Proficiency: Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online and ERP/CRM systems (Zoho One experience is a significant advantage).

• AI-Forward Mindset: A demonstrable passion for using Generative AI (Claude/Gemini) to optimize financial workflows. You don't just use these tools; you optimize processes through them.

• Hands-On Leadership: Experience managing a Bookkeeper and Data Analyst. You must be comfortable toggling between high-level strategy and rolling up your sleeves for day-to-day AP/AR/Payroll.

• Additional relevant knowledge or experience related to the above requirements will be considered an advantage.
