We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our Asset Operations Team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to enterprise-level asset lifecycle processes.

The main responsibilities of a ASSET OPERATIONS INTERN include:

  • Track and maintain accurate records of assets including computing equipment and related peripherals.
  • Conduct physical audits and update asset inventory data accordingly.
  • Support asset allocation, returns, and decommissioning procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring data accuracy and completeness in Asset Management databases.
  • Prepare reports related to asset usage, trends, and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal teams including Asset Operations, Procurement, and Finance.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware components.
  • Familiarity with Inventory tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world Asset operations.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets/ MS Office Applications (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas, and data cleaning) to reconcile physical counts against logs.
  • Baseline understanding of how database systems, ticketing platforms or Asset Management Software log hardware/software assets.
  • Familiarity with tagging methods suited for different physical materials.
  • Understanding basic warehouse, staging, or storage site organization (e.g., shelf tagging, status binning like Available vs. Faulty vs. Pending Disposal).
  • Precision in tracking serial numbers, asset tags, and status updates where a single typo breaks tracking continuity.
  • Clear writing and speaking skills to coordinate with team members, remote workers, or third-party logistics/vendors.
  • Resourcefulness when physical inventory doesn't match digital records during site audits or deployments.
