CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Cloud Services & Engineering team in Manila.

 You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimising cloud environments for our customers — focusing primarily on Microsoft Azure, with some involvement in private cloud platforms such as VMware and Nutanix.

Working closely with senior engineers and project managers in the UK, you’ll deliver secure, reliable infrastructure solutions that support Bedroq’s reputation for technical quality and service excellence.

This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone with strong Azure experience who wants to grow toward senior engineering or design-level responsibility.

• Build and configure Azure infrastructure (virtual machines, networking, and storage).
• Implement and manage Azure networking — VNets, NSGs, routing, peering, VPN gateways, and hybrid connectivity.
• Support cloud migrations and hybrid integrations between on-prem and Azure.
• Maintain and optimise existing customer environments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Apply Bedroq’s security, monitoring, and governance baselines to all deployments.
• Use automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates) to deliver consistent results.
• Provide operational support for private cloud platforms (VMware and Nutanix), assisting with monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers in both Manila and the UK.
• Document your work clearly and contribute ideas for process and tooling improvement 

• 4–6 years’ experience in cloud or infrastructure roles, ideally within a managed service provider or similar IT services environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS — compute, networking, and storage.
• Experience configuring Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPNs, hybrid connectivity).
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell or templates (ARM, Bicep).
• Familiarity with governance, RBAC, and cost management in Azure.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and core infrastructure fundamentals.
• Exposure to or understanding of VMware or Nutanix private cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, organised, and dependable — able to manage multiple priorities across projects.

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 / AZ801)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
