The Data Engineer is responsible for building and managing systems that collect, store, and organize data so it can be easily used across the business. This role includes working with the Snowflake data platform to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

The main responsibilities of a DATA ENGINEER/ DATA DEVELOPER include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that move data from different sources into a central data platform.
  • Use Snowflake to store, manage, and organize data for easy access and use.
  • Prepare and structure data so it can be used for reporting and analysis.
  • Monitor data systems and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Improve the performance and efficiency of data processes.
  • Ensure data is secure and follows company policies and standards.
  • Work closely with teams such as analytics, IT, and business units to understand data needs.
  • Maintain clear documentation of data processes and systems.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with data systems or databases.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (data querying).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

Skills

  • Experience working with Snowflake as a primary data platform.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data.
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
