Job Overview: Terabase uses small, unmanned aircraft systems to capture aerial imagery of solar power plant installations to track construction progress for clients. Through these aerial images, we provide validated installation quantities of the various solar plant system components throughout the life of the project. As an Image Processing Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing the unprocessed images captured from drone flights and creating usable data for the client. The Technician will use Terabase proprietary software to quantify installed components and perform installation quality control checks of the data captured.

The main responsibilities of a DRONE ANALYST include:
- Perform recurring image processing and counting activities in support of weekly customer artifacts and reports.
- Work closely with the Image Processing team to balance workflow and perform quality control steps to ensure accurate data is recorded.
- Work closely with the Construct Technology Director of Operations & Delivery and support the Construct platform team.
- Periodically work with the drone operators and pilots to request additional collection of field data or recommend updated mission plans be executed.
- Work closely with the Image Processing team to develop best practices and standardized processes .
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- 1+ year experience in the solar energy industry or heavy construction
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent time management and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment
- Ability to analyze relevant image data and problem solve
