Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize hybrid IT environments across our client portfolio. In this role, you will act as a senior technical hands-on engineer, serving as an escalation point for Tier 2/3 incidents, designing client network and cloud architectures, and executing client technology migrations.

The main responsibilities of a IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER include:
Key Responsibilities
- Client Infrastructure Operations: Build, deploy, and maintain cloud environments (Microsoft Azure / M365), hypervisors (Hyper-V / VMware), and on-premises physical servers.
- Network & Security Management: Support enterprise firewalls, switch stacks, wireless infrastructure, VLANs, site-to-site VPNs, and identity security baselines.
- Project Execution & Migrations: Lead network cutovers, cloud migrations, server refresh initiatives, and backup/DR disaster deployments.
- Escalation & Troubleshooting: Act as a high-tier escalation engineer resolving complex system, network, performance, and cross-platform issues.
- Documentation & RMM: Maintain documentation, centralized password management, runbooks, and automate monitoring/alerts through MSP PSA and RMM toolsets.

Qualifications
Core Qualifications (Required)
- Work Availability: Ability to work standard US Eastern Time (EST) operating hours.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or network engineering—with at least 2+ years inside a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Microsoft Cloud & Server: Proven mastery of Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server (2016–2022).
- Network Engineering: Solid, hands-on knowledge of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLAN routing, subnets, firewall rules (SonicWall, Fortinet, or Cisco), and IPSec VPNs.
- Virtualization & Backup: Experience administering VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, alongside enterprise backup platforms (Veeam, Datto, etc.).
- Communication & Multi-Tasking: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage tickets across multiple client environments simultaneously.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Certifications: Active certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Fortinet NSE.
- MSP Toolset Mastery: Direct experience using industry-standard RMM/PSA platforms (ConnectWise, NinjaOne, HaloPSA, Kaseya) and documentation platforms (ITGlue, Hudu).
- Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system automation, batch administration, and M365 tenant management.
- Advanced Networking: Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi (Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco Meraki, Aruba) and SD-WAN deployments.
- Azure Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure VNets, and cloud network security groups.
