We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support end-to-end finance operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bookkeeping, and Philippine tax compliance.
This role will work closely with the Australia-based finance team and will play an important part in ensuring accurate reporting and full compliance with local regulations.

The main responsibilities of a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT include:
- Assist in processing Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment requests.
- Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities by preparing invoices, monitoring collections, and maintaining customer account records.
- Assist with payroll administration, including payroll data validation, statutory deductions, and employee payroll documentation.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in reconciling ledger accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing schedules and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Philippine tax and statutory requirements, including VAT, withholding taxes, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and responding to requests from internal and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and Philippine regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve accounting and billing concerns.
- Generate basic financial reports and support the finance team with data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Support process improvement initiatives and perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Collaborate closely with the Australia-based finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience will have an advantage.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping, and Payroll processes.
- Familiarity with Philippine taxation and statutory requirements, including BIR compliance, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop a career in accounting and finance.
- Experience supporting international or Australian clients is an advantage but not required.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and General Accounting functions.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Familiarity with Philippine tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and BIR reporting requirements.
- Experience performing bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
- Exposure to audit preparation, financial reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Experience working with Australian or international clients.
- Knowledge of multi-entity or multi-country accounting environments.
- Experience in a shared services, BPO, professional services, or multinational setting.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting and document management systems.
- Strong interest in developing a long-term career in accounting, finance, taxation, and compliance.
