LOSS PREVENTION SPECIALIST

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the assets of the company, including its merchandise, facilities, and personnel. By employing various loss prevention strategies and technologies, this specialist ensures significant reduction in losses due to theft, fraud, and other security breaches.

• Conduct daily operational checks of video surveillance systems to ensure optimal functioning and report any malfunctions for immediate repair.
• Perform thorough video reviews to assist the Loss Prevention Manager, Analysts, and Investigators in identifying, investigating, and resolving theft or fraud incidents.
• Prepare detailed daily reports summarizing findings from audits and video reviews to aid in swift and effective decision-making.
• Engage actively in team meetings and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of loss prevention strategies and procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, supporting broader loss prevention and security goals of the department.

• Proven ability to maintain high attention to detail in reviewing surveillance footage and security reports.
• Strong sense of accountability and commitment to preventing losses and solving problems proactively within and beyond the department.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with experience working effectively as part of a cohesive group toward shared objectives.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to grammatical norms.

• Experience with various security software and surveillance systems is highly preferred.
• Skills in data analysis and fraud detection techniques would be an advantage.
