Make your next big career move by applying as KMC Solutions’ next MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Marketing Operations Manager owns the systems, data and measurement behind marketing and intake: the marketing, intake and practice-management platforms and the attribution and reporting built on them, from first click or call to signed matter. The Director sets strategy, priorities, brand and budget; the Digital Marketing Manager runs the channels and the Google Ads, SEO and web agencies. This role owns the plumbing the channels run on and supplies the data used to judge every channel and agency. It is accountable for measurement and for surfacing where leads are lost, not for what closes. The role is hands-on and has no direct reports in the short term. There is a plan to hire 2–3 direct reports in the medium term.
On top of your salary, here are the exciting benefits you can look forward to:
- Build the marketing operations function from the ground up: Take real ownership of the systems, processes, data, and infrastructure behind a rapidly growing marketing organization.
- High-impact, highly visible role: Work directly with the Director of Business Development and Marketing, with your reporting and insights directly influencing marketing investment and decision-making.
- Own the entire MarTech ecosystem: Hands-on exposure to Lawmatics, Lawbrokr, Clio, CallRail, GA4, offline conversions, email automation, website integrations, and future CRM initiatives.
- Connect marketing directly to revenue: Go beyond clicks and leads by building attribution from the first interaction all the way through to a signed matter, including cost per retained matter and channel performance.
- Strong career-growth opportunity: Start as a hands-on individual contributor with significant autonomy, with a roadmap to potentially build and lead a 2–3 person team as the function matures.
- Join a fast-growing Canadian law firm: Taxpayer Law has grown to roughly 20 people within five years, with billings increasing approximately 170% from 2024 to 2025.
- Major transformation projects already on the roadmap: Influence the Lawmatics transition, website refresh, marketing automation, call-tracking optimization, reporting infrastructure, and future CRM evaluation.
- Philippines-based with mostly PH-friendly hours: Most work can be completed during Philippine hours, with only limited Eastern Time overlap expected once or twice weekly.
The main responsibilities of a MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER include:
● Lawmatics & Lawbrokr: Administer and optimize configuration, workflows, A/B tests, automation, lead capture, testing, documentation, and user support.
● Clio Grow: Administer forms, pipeline stages, workflows, templates, e-signature, and booking, as well as the handoff of signed matters into Clio Manage with lead source intact (Clio Grow is currently being replaced with Lawmatics).
● Clio Manage Administration: Act as the firm's administrator (configuration, templates, workflows, and integrations with Clio Grow and Lawmatics), implement billing settings as directed by finance, train users, and build agreed reports. (Note: Billing decisions, collections, trust accounting, and Law Society compliance stay with the lawyers and Manager of Billing and Collections.)
● Call Tracking: Implement and optimize CallRail and Voice Assist, including the enhanced Voice Assist pilot; own configuration, testing, and reporting based on requirements set by the Director and intake team.
● Email Marketing Platform: Assess a Mailchimp replacement, then manage subscriber lists, CASL consent records, deliverability, and automated workflows for newsletters, review requests, and webinar registrations (content provided by Head of Thought Leadership).
● Website & Systems Infrastructure: Build and maintain website forms and platform connections, manage the platform-connections agency, implement approved privacy/consent requirements, run change control, and maintain a map of systems, data flows, owners, and admin credentials.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
● Fluent English, written and spoken, with the ability to write clear plain-English documentation and training material.
● 5+ years in marketing operations, marketing technology, revenue operations, or legal technology, including 3+ years directly owning systems and data (implementations, workflow design, and fixing integrations).
● Hands-on experience with GA4, call tracking, offline conversion configuration, end-to-end CRM/intake administration, and multi-system funnel reporting.
● Proven success in growing, fast-moving organizations: comfortable with ambiguity, building practical processes independently, and identifying when external agency support is required.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
● Experience in law firms or professional services; Lawmatics, Lawbrokr, CallRail, or Clio; email deliverability & CASL compliance; building CRMs from scratch; AI voice or chat intake tools; French language skills.
