Make your next big career move by applying as KMC Solutions’ next MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGER

VTG provides B2B technology services to commercial and institutional customers. We are building our marketing practice and capacity to support a complex portfolio, growing Sales team, and expanding partner relationships. Those customers include education (including E-Rate), public sector, and government organizations, and a core growth priority is expanding relationships with existing customers across our full portfolio.

To that end, VTG seeks a Marketing Program Manager: a hands-on individual contributor who will define work, develop useful marketing materials, and drive programs that generate and accelerate pipeline through delivery, as described below.

This role will operate under the guidance of the VTG fractional Chief Marketing Officer (fCMO), who sets strategy, priorities, and budgets, with business guidance and pipeline targets from the VTG Chief Revenue Officer, to whom the role also reports results directly.

It will work closely with Sales leaders and representatives, product/service subject matter experts, Revenue Operations, the Digital Marketing Manager, and external partners as described below.

On top of your salary, here are the exciting benefits you can look forward to:

  • Programs produce measurable sourced and influenced pipeline against agreed targets, tracked in Salesforce.
  • New sellers ramp faster because a current enablement kit exists and is in use.
  • Unclear requests become agreed, executable plans with minimal escalation to the fCMO.
  • Programs reach their agreed objectives with usable materials, timely reviews, visible risks, and completed follow-up.
  • Internal resources are used effectively; external work and spend stay within explicit approval.
  • Sales teams can find current materials, and each program leaves behind useful results and lessons.
  • Partner funds are claimed in full and on time, with proof of performance complete.
  • Within the first 90 days: the seller enablement kit is current, at least one customer cross-sell program and one partner program are live, and results are reported to the fCMO and CRO.

The main responsibilities of a MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGER include:

  • Work with the fCMO, Sales, subject matter experts, and partners (through the VTG owners of each sales channel and technology partnership) to understand the business objective, offering, audience, customer problem, and desired action.
  • Clarify vague requests, gather missing information, propose a practical approach, and surface the decisions needed to proceed.
  • Develop briefs and program plans covering deliverables, contributors, dependencies, reviews, timing, distribution, and follow-up. Reach agreement on priorities and material scope changes with the fCMO.

Develop useful marketing materials

  • Write solid first drafts and produce everyday presentations, one-pagers, sales materials, campaign copy, partner communications, and webinar or event materials.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear customer benefits, using approved positioning and input from accountable subject matter experts.
  • Adapt and maintain materials using approved templates and brand standards. Coordinate technical review, fact-checking, editorial review, and final approval.
  • Help Sales teams find and use current materials; maintain orderly files, versions, approval records, and retirement of superseded assets.
  • Build and maintain the sales enablement kit used to onboard new sellers: core messaging, offering summaries, battle cards, talk tracks, and a guide to where current materials live.
  • Translate the unified VTG offering catalog into consistent messaging across all sales teams and channels, using the VTG brand only in external materials.

Drive programs through delivery

  • Manage assigned campaigns, partner initiatives, webinars, events, and sales enablement projects from definition through delivery and follow-up.
  • Plan and run programs to existing customers that introduce additional VTG services, working with account owners to target and track cross-sell opportunities.
  • Manage partner co-marketing and market development funds (MDF): plan eligible activities, meet partner program requirements, and complete proof of performance and claims on time.
  • Coordinate contributors, resolve routine execution problems, track commitments, and raise risks or decisions early with a recommended next step. When outside support is needed, define the assignment and obtain the fCMO’s approval before commissioning work or committing spend; coordinate approved vendors through delivery.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager, who leads digital implementation, measurement, and optimization, on channel plans, asset requirements, launch readiness, tracking, and post-program reporting. Coordinate campaign requirements and reporting needs with Revenue Operations.
  • Review results, including sourced and influenced pipeline, against the agreed objective and recommend improvements. Coordinate remote event work with the internal owner responsible for any on-site activity.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Demonstrated ownership of B2B marketing projects from an incomplete request through planning, production, review, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Strong business writing and editing, with work samples showing clear explanations of technical products or services.
  • Hands-on proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, spreadsheets, and everyday collateral production; sound judgment about when specialist help is needed. Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms is useful.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication, including the ability to manage several projects, set expectations, and work with limited supervision.
  • Experience working with sales teams and subject matter experts. B2B technology, IT services, SaaS, or another complex technical environment is especially relevant. Experience with technology partner co-marketing or MDF programs, and with education (including E-Rate), public sector, or government buyers, is a plus.
  • Clear written and spoken English and reliable overlap with U.S. business hours for reviews, collaboration, and scheduled programs.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

Additional relevant knowledge or experience related to the above requirements will be considered an advantage.
