In this role, you will perform a variety of technical and confidential duties related to the processing and administration of Illumio payroll in the United States and internationally.

Every day, you ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely fashion in compliance with applicable laws, and process and maintain employee information and records.

The main responsibilities of a PAYROLL ANALYST include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing technical and confidential duties related to global payroll processing and administration.
  • Prepare and generate payrolls for all employees, including tax withholdings, social security, unemployment insurance, and retirement contributions.
  • Manage monthly payroll processes for EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Manage semi-monthly payroll processes for the Americas (U.S. and Canada).
  • Process off-cycle payrolls as needed.
  • Update and maintain employee records, including authorized deductions. Process garnishments, levies, and other adjustments as required.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll-related processes, including employee terminations and issue resolution.
  • Provide support to employees regarding payroll, time and labor, and tax concerns.
  • Assist with employment verification processes globally.
  •  Gather and prepare documents for internal and external audits.
  •  Prepare reconciliations and journal entries related to payroll accounts.
  •  Stay current with payroll laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and improve payroll processing efficiency.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in processing payroll.
  • Proficiency in ADP WorkforceNow is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF)
  • Experience in processing payroll across multiple countries and working with international payroll consultants is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with third parties across geographic regions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, process improvement, and scalability.
  • Remote work in PST time zone.
