The main responsibilities of a PROCUREMENT SENIOR SPECIALIST include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all purchasing activities related to operations and projects, ensuring smooth and efficient procurement processes.
- Assist with asset management procedures as required to ensure proper inventory and resource management.
- Conduct sourcing activities, establish relationships, and negotiate with both new and existing suppliers to drive business improvements.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure that cost, quality, and delivery targets are consistently met.
- Develop and implement detailed sourcing strategies and category plans to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review supplies, works, and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and industry best procurement practices.
- Facilitate vendor selection, documentation & compliance, management, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal supplier performance.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and supply contracts to secure the best value for the company.
- Facilitate sourcing, negotiation and importation of goods and services.
- Other task/s that is/are innately included in the position that the immediate head may assign from time to time.
