13th Month Pay

• With a minimum rendered work of at least one (1) month during the calendar year you shall be entitled to 13th Month Pay equivalent to 1/12 of your monthly gross salary multiplied by the number of months worked or earned within a given calendar year to be released on or before Dec 24 of every calendar year subject to the computation as provided by the Labor Code and other pertinent issuances of the Department of Labor and Employment.

Leave Monetization of Sick Leaves

• The employee shall be eligible to monetize a portion of his/her earned and unused sick leaves to be credited on the first quarter of the succeeding year. The amount to be monetized shall be up to a maximum of PHP 10,000.00 and shall be considered as non-taxable. Any remaining and available leaves credits, aside from the ones being monetized, shall automatically be forfeited at the end of the current calendar year.

NON- MONETARY BENEFITS

Paid Leave Credits

Employee shall start earning up to Fifteen (15) days’ Vacation Leave (“VL”) with an accrual rate of 1.25 leaves per month, and up to Fifteen (15) days’ Sick Leave ("SL") with an accrual rate of 1.25 leaves per month. VL and SL credits will be available for a period of one year from January 1 to December 31 of the same year. Additional One (1) day VL credit for every year of service up to a maximum of Twenty (20) days VL.

Carry Over of Leaves

Maximum of five (5) vacation leave credits from the current year may be utilized until March 31 of the succeeding year

Special Leaves

Employee shall be entitled to statutory leaves including but not limited to: Maternity Leave, maximum of 105 days. Republic Act 9710: Magna Carta for Women allowing up to Two (2) months leave with full pay based on the gross monthly compensation pursuant to conditions specified in said Republic Act.

HMO Principal

The Employee / Principal shall be entitled to the health insurance upon hire with a maximum benefit limit (MBL) amounting to PHP 300,000 per illness per year. The HMO coverage shall be subject to the guidelines and standards of the HMO provider.

HMO Dependent

Php 200,000 per illness per year HMO eligibility upon hire for 2 dependents. HMO coverage for free dependents is the standard/regular coverage unless stated otherwise

Birthday Leave

The Employee shall be eligible for one (1) birthday leave which can be used within the birthday month upon the approval of the immediate manager. Unused Birthday Leave shall automatically be forfeited prior to the end of the birthday month.

The candidate will join the Global Debt Services technology team and contribute to the development and ongoing evolution of the software platforms supporting the GDS business globally.

The GDS technology estate includes established production applications, internal operational systems, client-facing platforms and new applications under active development, including bondholder identification tools, transaction and tender-offer websites and internal deal operations systems. These systems support teams operating across EMEA, APAC and the Americas and form an important part of the infrastructure used to deliver complex debt and liability management transactions.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer with at least 10 years of professional software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in PHP, Laravel and modern web application development.

This is a senior engineering role rather than a narrowly defined backend or frontend position. The successful candidate will be expected to work comfortably across the application stack, understand existing systems, contribute to architectural decisions, deliver new functionality, improve mature applications and take engineering tasks through their complete lifecycle.

The candidate will work as part of a distributed engineering team and will collaborate closely with other developers, technology leadership and members of the wider Global Debt Services business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laravel applications used across the Global Debt Services business.
• Take engineering tasks from requirements through implementation, testing, pull request, review and deployment.
• Work effectively with developers and GDS colleagues across different regions and time zones.
• Clarify requirements, identify edge cases and raise technical or business concerns where necessary.
• Build new functionality across backend and frontend systems using the most appropriate technologies for the problem.
• Maintain and improve mature production applications, including refactoring legacy code where appropriate.
• Produce clean, maintainable and appropriately tested code.
• Submit clear, reviewable pull requests and participate actively in code review.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, considering root cause, performance, security and data integrity.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards and engineering practices across the team.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share technical knowledge.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code for codebase exploration, implementation, testing, debugging and refactoring.
• Work comfortably with agentic coding workflows while retaining responsibility for validating generated code, architecture and behaviour.
• Communicate progress, risks and blockers clearly and take ownership of work through to completion.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep experience with PHP and Laravel across multiple major framework versions.
• Strong knowledge of modern Laravel architecture, including services, actions, jobs, queues, events, listeners, policies, form requests, API resources, notifications, caching and Eloquent.
• Strong experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing and query optimization.
• Experience building REST APIs, authentication and permission systems.
• Strong experience with both React and/orand Vue.js.
• Working familiarity with Inertia.js and Livewire.
• Experience with Livewire, Blade components and modern Laravel frontend development.
• Good judgement on when to use Blade, Livewire, Inertia or API-driven frontend architectures.
• Strong testing experience using Pest and/or PHPUnit.
• Experience deploying and supporting Laravel applications in production.
• Sound understanding of secure coding practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10) and of handling sensitive financial and client data.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Experience working effectively within a geographically distributed engineering team.
• Ability to understand and improve existing systems without assuming that every problem requires a rewrite.
• An active interest in modern development practices, including AI-assisted and agentic software development.
• Ability to work standard APAC business hours, with flexibility to collaborate with colleagues in other time zones when required.

• Ability and desire to work EMEA working hours is essential
• Experience in working within Financial Markets and specifically debt capital markets would be advantageous
• Understanding and knowledge of fixed income voluntary corporate actions, liability management and processes of clearing systems
• Strong and demonstrable knowledge of MS Excel, Word and AI platforms (principally Claude)
• High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
• Strong business communication skills (both written and oral) in English are essential.
• Comfortable communicating with investors and custodians/intermediaries over the phone and by e-mail
• Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, deal with multiple projects at once, and deliver to deadlines under pressure
• Self-starter with an active interest in finance and the markets
• Keen, hands-on approach, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to learn and innovate
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively would be advantageous.
