We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Operations team and support the day-to-day accounting activities that keep our business running efficiently.

In this role, you will work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll support, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting ERP and accounting systems, and driving continuous process improvements.

The main responsibilities of a STAFF ACCOUNTANT include:

  • Process and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Review, code, and enter invoices while ensuring accurate General Ledger classifications.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including prepaid expenses, accruals, balance sheet accounts, and corporate credit cards.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing journal entries and financial schedules.
  • Monitor and reconcile daily sales and revenue reports, investigating discrepancies as needed.
  • Support payroll reconciliations and validate payroll-related transactions.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records and documentation.
  • Prepare recurring financial reports to support business operations and management decision-making.
  • Support ERP and accounting system administration, including data integrity and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve finance processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, special projects, and other accounting or finance duties as assigned.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BSAIS, Accounting Technology, Accountancy, Management
  • Accounting, or a related Accounting/Finance field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, General Accounting, Accounts
  • Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Revenue Operations, ERP/System, Administration, or Financial Reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Experience using ERP or accounting systems (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to work overnight hours aligned with U.S. Central Time and attend required in-office meetings in Manila.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
  • General Accounting principles and financial reconciliations
  • Journal entries and month-end close activities
  • Microsoft Excel (including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis)
  • ERP or accounting systems (QuickBooks experience is an advantage)
  • Financial reporting and account analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • QuickBooks or other ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Approval workflow platforms (e.g., ApprovalMax) and expense management tools
  • Payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
  • Revenue Operations and sales reconciliation
  • Financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Internal controls and audit support
  • Process improvement, automation, and finance systems optimization
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel features, including Power Query, Power Pivot, or basic macros
  • Business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred but not required)
  • Working in a U.S.-based or multinational business environment
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Continuous improvement methodologies and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
