The main responsibilities of a STAFF ACCOUNTANT include:
- Issuing invoices and purchase orders as well as paying consultants, subcontractor,vendor and supplier invoices.
- Maintaining documentation for accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury.
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations and assisting withmonthly close processes.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing US corporate and/or individual income tax returns
- Preparing sales/use tax, property tax, and/or other local tax returns
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
- Other tasks to be assigned
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any Accounting related courses.
- At least 2-3 years of experience similar to the role.
- Must be detail-oriented
- With excellent communication skills
- Preferably with a few years of experience in private or public accounting
- Preferably with a few years of experience in Financial Reporting in an outsourcing company
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Additional relevant knowledge or experience related to the above requirements will be considered an advantage.
