To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Areas of responsibility:

Content Publishing and Management:

Publish content supplied by the marketing team across the CMS, ensuring pages are correctly built, formatted, and tagged before going live.

Manage the content publishing calendar for the UK and Ireland, tracking what is live, what is scheduled, and what needs updating.

Maintain existing content to reflect operational changes, seasonal campaigns, and commercial priorities, coordinating with relevant internal teams to get accurate information.

Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated, duplicated, or underperforming pages and prioritise remediation.

SEO and Organic Performance:

Apply on-page SEO optimisation to all content before publication, covering title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, and alt text.

Use Google Search Console and GA4 to track organic performance across both sites, identifying content that needs refreshing or expanding.

Support keyword research and content gap analysis in collaboration with marketing, to inform where new content is needed and how existing content should be structured.

Flag technical SEO issues to the development team where they fall outside content-level fixes.

CRO and Campaign Support:

Work with the UX and CRO Manager to ensure campaign landing pages are correctly structured and optimised for conversion, based on content supplied by marketing.

Support A/B testing activity by preparing and publishing content variants as directed, and QA-ing pages before tests go live.

Ensure all campaign content across both sites is live, accurate, and consistent with the wider campaign messaging throughout its lifecycle.

Collaboration and Quality Assurance:

Work on-site with the digital product team, contributing to sprint planning and flagging content-related dependencies or blockers.

Act as the primary point of contact between marketing and the digital product team for content publishing across the UK and Ireland.

QA all content before and after publication, checking for formatting errors, broken links, missing metadata, and consistency with brand and on-site standards.

Liaise with legal, compliance, and operations teams where content touches regulated or operationally sensitive areas prior to publication.

Experience and Skills:

Essential: A minimum of 2 years experience in a web content, digital publishing, or SEO executive role, with direct responsibility for managing and publishing content on a live website.

Essential: Hands-on experience with a CMS platform (such as WordPress, Umbraco, Contentful, or similar), including page building, content structuring, and metadata management.

Essential: Solid working knowledge of on-page SEO principles and a track record of applying them consistently in practice.

Essential: Familiarity with GA4 and Google Search Console for monitoring content performance and identifying optimisation opportunities.

Essential: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a publishing pipeline across multiple sites and markets simultaneously.

Essential: Comfortable working on-site as part of a cross-functional digital team, coordinating with both marketing and product colleagues.

Preferable: Experience managing content across separate regional or market-specific websites.

Preferable: Exposure to A/B testing or CRO activity, even in a publishing or QA capacity.

Preferable: Basic understanding of HTML sufficient to identify and resolve formatting issues within a CMS.

Preferable: Familiarity with tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush for content auditing and SEO analysis.

Preferable: Experience in a B2B or service-based business.
