BIM ENGINEER
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• You would be expected to work autonomously a lot of the time, with limited supervision from senior engineers, and would therefore need to be highly motivated to achieve the level of quality and work expected of him/her.
• Your colleagues and supervisors may be based in another country, and you should be comfortable working in an online environment with frequent web-based meetings
• Report directly to a senior engineer and work to achieve satisfactory conclusions from a highly results-driven organization
• While the core of your work will be drafting in BIM/Revit, you may also be required to undertake other scopes such as site inspections, testing and commissioning work. A flexible attitude towards varied workload is essential
• Maintain good relationships and communication with colleagues, Clients, and other stakeholders
• Maintain good technical knowledge of the industry and relevant M&E design and industry standards.

The main responsibilities of a BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM) ENGINEER include:
Specific Responsibilities in Relation to BIM/Revit Work
• Prepare Multidisciplinary 3D model using Revit for various LOD
• Revit family content creation
• Prepare relevant design development, coordination, and construction drawing
• Extract CAD drawings from Revit
• Extract BOQ from the Revit Model
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinator / Manager creating RFIs, Progress report, etc.
• Prepare Images and 3D rendering
• Generate service clash detection report using Revit / Navisworks
• Conduct QA / QC on every stage of Model submission
• Close coordination and direct communication with architect and other design consultants
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
Qualifciations:
• Degree level education in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 0-5 years professional experience in consultancy, contracting or from an industry related supplier
• Relevant experience with mission critical facilities such as data centres and banking sector would be a distinct advantage
• Substantial experience of delivering MEP designs using Autodesk Revit software
• Understanding of BIM Standards, BIM Templates and Process
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
• Additional Design and site-based experience is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Computer literate and have experience of using Office 365 as well as other tools related to MEP design and BIM project delivery
