JOB DESCRIPTION 

 Position: Business Development Executive  

Job Level: Specialist I 

Immediate Superior: Business Development Leader – Growth Strategy 

Department: Business Development and Strategic Partnerships

 The Role 

 As a Business Development Executive, you'll play a vital role in our growth strategy. You'll be responsible for generating a high volume of qualified leads through various outreach activities, setting up meetings with potential clients, and nurturing them until they're sales-ready. This role also blends business development activities, including prospect identification, lead generation, and data management. 

 This role also involves utilizing technology-driven sales tools, proactive lead research, and collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to generate high-quality leads. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

 Lead Generation & Outreach (Email and Linkedin Campaigns) 

  • Implement a multi-channel outreach strategy, including email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other prospecting methods. 

  • Craft compelling and personalized outreach messages that resonate with ideal client profiles. 

  • Assist in setting up, managing, and optimizing automated email and LinkedIn outbound campaigns. 

  • Monitor and manage email and LinkedIn inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. 

  • Utilize various business development tools to support lead generation and outreach efforts. Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in business development. 

Lead Qualification & Nurturing: 

  • Conduct initial lead qualification calls to assess interest, budget, and decision-making authority. 

  • Develop and nurture qualified leads by providing valuable information and addressing their specific needs. 

  • Assist in scheduling qualified leads for meetings with the sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff and transition. 

 Campaign Data Management, Tracking and Analysis:  

  • Create and manage Excel trackers to monitor campaign progress and performance metrics. 

  • Analyze and present data from trackers and CRM in a clear, actionable manner. 

 CRM Data Management, Tracking and Analysis  

  • Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and outreach activities in our CRM system (Hubspot) 

  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness within the CRM system. Track and record all lead interactions and outreach activities in HubSpot. 

  • Analyze lead generation data to identify performance trends and areas for improvement. 

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize overall lead generation strategies. 

 Prospect Identification & Research: 

  • Conduct online research for target account list building, and to gather market insights and industry trends. 

  • Utilize various BD tools and techniques to identify high-potential clients within the US market. 

  • Compile and organize research findings for easy reference and team use. 

 You’re a perfect fit if you have:   

  • 3+ years of experience in lead generation or a related field. 

  • Proven track record of exceeding lead generation goals and exceeding sales quotas (preferred). 

  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and lead qualification methodologies. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients in a consultative manner. 

  • Adept at time management and organization in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (Hubspot). 

  • Experience with outreach platforms and marketing automation tools (a plus). 

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. 

  • Flexibility to work remotely with primary support for the US time zone.

  1. Campaign Engagement: Open and click-through rates for emails; LinkedIn engagement metrics. 

  1. Lead-to-Opportunity Ratio: Ratio of leads that convert to sales opportunities. 

 Lead Qualification & Nurturing: 

  1. Qualification Rate: Percentage of leads meeting qualification criteria. 

  1. Time to Qualification: Average time to qualify leads. 

  1. Nurturing Success: Number of leads transitioned to sales meetings. 

  1. Nurtured Lead Conversion: Percentage of nurtured leads that convert to sales opportunities. 

 Campaign Data Management & Analysis: 

  1. Tracking Accuracy: Timeliness and accuracy of campaign metrics. 

  1. Data Presentation: Clarity and actionability of reports. 

 CRM Data Management: 

  1. Data Accuracy: Percentage of accurate records in CRM. 

  1. Interaction Tracking: Number of lead interactions recorded. 

  1. Insight Utilization: Effectiveness of CRM data in strategy optimization. 

 Prospect Identification & Research: 

  1. Target Accounts Identified: Number of high-potential clients identified. 

  1. Research Quality: Relevance and usefulness of research findings. 

  1. Research Efficiency: Time spent versus actionable insights gained. 

 Overall Performance: 

  1. Lead Generation ROI: Revenue generated relative to lead generation cost. 

  1. Client Acquisition Cost (CAC): Average cost to acquire a new client. 

  1. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV): Revenue generated per customer versus acquisition cost.
