This role is ideal for professionals passionate about managing and optimizing databases in a fast-paced AWS production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon Aurora databases while collaborating closely with SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to support critical business operations.

The main responsibilities of a DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR include:
- To support Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon Aurora (MySQL/Postgres) databases in a production AWS environment.
- The role focuses on database operations, monitoring, performance tuning, incident response, and maintenance, with strong collaboration across SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.
- Responsibilities include backups and recovery, performance optimization, schema changes via CI/CD, Windows Server and AWS EC2/EBS support, and maintaining documentation while ensuring security, reliability, and compliance standards.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- 2–4 years of hands-on DBA(Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Postgres) experience.
- Working knowledge of backup/recovery, database security, and performance tuning.
- Experience in AWS and Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with database deployment automation and strong troubleshooting skills.
- US Clients experience.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience with RDS/Aurora monitoring and CloudWatch
- SQL Server high availability and/or replication features
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with DevOps and/or SRE practices
- Healthcare client or projects background.
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
