The main responsibilities of a EXPORT AND IMPORT ANALYST include:
- Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to international trade laws and regulations by preparing and reviewing essential documentation and compliance measures for coffee imports and exports.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with shipping partners and freight forwarders to enhance the efficiency of green coffee shipments, ensuring effective logistics and supply chain management.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Analyze and strategize against potential risks in trade, including currency fluctuations and geopolitical tensions, to safeguard the company's interests.
- Platform Integration Support: Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate trade functionalities into our digital platform, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed market research and generate insightful reports to guide strategic decisions and platform enhancements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the main liaison for all trade-related interactions with partners and clients, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
- Launch Preparation and Continuous Improvement: Participate in the testing and rollout of new features and continuously seek ways to improve processes and adopt new technologies in trade.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Deep understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements for importing and exporting goods.
- Proficiency in managing logistics and supply chains, including working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk and perform market analysis.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse internal teams and external partners.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience with digital trading platforms and the ability to integrate trade functionalities into software solutions.
- Familiarity with sustainability certifications and environmental compliance in the coffee industry.
- Knowledge of emerging trade technologies and innovations that can be harnessed to improve trade processes.
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
