We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Frontend Developer to join our growing development team. You will work closely with senior engineers and designers to create engaging and performant web applications using Next.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, and TypeScript. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to UI/UX design discussions and help bring intuitive interfaces to life.

The main responsibilities of a FRONT END DEVELOPER 1 include:

  • Develop user-facing features using Next.js, React, and other JavaScript frameworks

  • Write clean, reusable, and scalable code in TypeScript

  • Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs into functional, accessible interfaces

  • Assist in optimizing applications for maximum performance and responsiveness

  • Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve code quality

  • Maintain and update existing web applications

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and design trends

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Basic experience with Next.js or React (internships or personal projects count!)

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

  • Exposure to UI/UX design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or Styled Components

  • Understanding of REST APIs

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies or Scrum

The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements

  • Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
  • Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
  • 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
  • Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
  • Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
  • Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
  • Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
