The main responsibilities of a IT ASSETS AND INVENTORY SPECIALIST include:
- Develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.
- Manage the intake of all IT assets and consumables, including acquisition, receipt, documentation, and storage.
- Ensure accurate tagging and recording of assets in the IT asset management system to maintain accountability and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits and generate reports on asset utilization and lifecycle status to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with IT and finance departments to forecast asset needs and manage budget considerations for asset acquisition.
- Handle the disposition of obsolete or retired IT assets in accordance with company policy and environmental laws.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Proven experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage a large inventory accurately.
- Proficiency in IT asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of the IT procurement and asset lifecycle process.
- Ability to collaborate with various departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience with ITSM or ITAM tools.
- Knowledge of IT and data security practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
- Certification in IT Asset Management (e.g., CITAM) is an advantage
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
