We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Specialist to manage and review our company's contracts. The ideal candidate will ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies, while also advising stakeholders on contract details.

The main responsibilities of a LEGAL SPECIALIST include:

  • Reviewing and Analyzing Contracts: Ensure contract terms comply with legal regulations and company policies.
  • Identifying Risks: Assess potential risks in contract terms and conditions.
  • Negotiating Terms: Negotiate contract terms with external and internal parties.
  • Drafting and Revising Contracts: Prepare, edit, and revise contract drafts and amendments.
  • Maintaining Contract Database: Manage the organization’s contract database.
  • Providing Support: Assist other departments with contract-related questions and issues.
  • Conducting Audits: Perform contract audits and compliance reviews.
  • Staying Updated: Remain current on relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College degree in Secretarial, Business, Law, Legal Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in contracts administration, contracts management and or related legal field. 
  • Experience working with landlord, vendor contracts, including drafting and amending standard templates. 
  • Must be amenable to work onsite every day. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Great written and oral communication skills. 
  • Organized, ethical, and self-motivated with the ability to perform well with minimal supervision in a fast paced and target-driven environment. 
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
  • Can work under pressure 
  • Responsible 
  • Has good business acumen 

 

The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements

  • Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
  • Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
  • 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
  • Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
  • Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
  • Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
  • Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
