This position is responsible for supporting, developing and implementing global / regional sourcing strategies across warehousing, global airfreight and final mile logistics, identifying cost savings opportunities, driving change and implementing industry best practices to support a best-in-class Enterprise Procurement function.

The main responsibilities of a LOGISTICS PROCUREMENT MANAGER include:

  • Supports and or negotiates and manages regional/local contracts (e.g., warehousing, airfreight, ocean freight, parcel, trucking etc). 

  • Contributes to defining the strategy and vision of related programs and supporting strategic alignment with LOB and business support functions, accountable for building strong and effective relationships with internal stakeholders.     

  • Negotiates industry competitive pricing models, best practices, service levels and support for our internal customers.  

  • Supports managing complex supply chain/procurement situations with aggressive goals and often short notice for n-tier suppliers. 

  • Provides input and/or proposes policies and procedures for related programs. 

  • May outsource & manage vendors to focus on global/regional distribution.  

  • Identifies PB's ongoing needs for the purpose of seeking and analyzing competitive bids, selecting and implementing vendors. Monitors and reports on vendor performance.  

  • Contribute to manage employee, business and functional compliance against programs and policies and reports to appropriate management teams. 

  • Assists with support and communication of additional programs as appropriate.  

  • Supports and or leads the operational integration of third-party services.   

  • Maintain active compliance with EHS, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain and Contract rules, SAP, etc. 

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Total Experience: Practical and Functional
  • Knowledgeable and can demonstrate in procurement industry
  • Contract Negotiation Skills
  • Project Management Skills
  • Got a wide knowledge when it comes to E-Commerce
  • Must be a highly effective communicator, both verbally and in writing,
  • Must be excellent on one on one and large audience/presentation skills.
  • Procurement Logistic experience from a Global Logistic
  • Understanding Contract Management (RFP & RFQ)

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • Technology Driven
  • Strong in Reporting
  • Technical Knowledge
  • Power BI Skills/Knowledge
  • Analytical Skills will be a plus
  • Transportation experience to UK and outside of UK

The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements

  • Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
  • Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
  • 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
  • Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
  • Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
  • Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
  • Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
