NerdWallet is seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for providing ongoing support for Oracle Financials and other applications and driving continuous improvement through system enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of Oracle Financials modules, and a proactive mindset towards troubleshooting and optimizing financial processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and enhancing Oracle Financials applications to drive business success and improve operation efficiency.
The main responsibilities of a ORACLE CLOUD FINANCIAL FUNCTIONAL ANALYST include:
- Provide functional expertise and guidance in Oracle Financials modules, including but not limited to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Financial Reporting.
- Provide day-to-day support for Oracle Financials applications, including troubleshooting user issues, resolving system errors, and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with end users to understand their needs, identify pain points, and recommend solutions to enhance system usability and functionality.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system enhancements and customizations.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy enhancements to Oracle Financials applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with best practices.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify opportunities for optimization, streamline processes, and improve system performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, training materials, and system configurations, to support end users and IT stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to Oracle Financials applications, providing subject matter expertise and guidance as needed.
- Stay current with Oracle product updates, new features, and industry trends, and assess their impact on existing systems and processes.
- Support Production and Non-production environments, integrations, and analysis including patches, planning, design, development, implementation, subsequent phases, and maintenance.
- Administer (access maintenance) and Support boundary systems.
- Provide user training and support during system upgrades, patches, and migrations to minimize disruption and maximize user adoption.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Functional analyst, with a focus on support and enhancement activities.
- Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose system issues, analyze complex business requirements, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering system enhancements and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher.
- Experience with Oracle Procurement and Self Service Procurement Cloud applications preferred.
- Oracle certifications in Financials modules or related areas are desirable but not required.
