We are a growing Process Excellence group embedding Lean and Six Sigma across the organization. Our team drives a Yellow Belt training program, supports active capstone projects, and leads high-priority transformations. As our intern, you will work directly alongside our Process Excellence group and gain hands-on exposure to process improvement tools, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.

The main responsibilities of a PROCESS EXCELLENCE INTERN include:
Process Mapping & Analysis
- Develop and maintain Value Stream Maps (VSMs) for Human Resources business processes
- Create current-state and future-state process maps using standard BPMN or Lean notation
- Identify waste, bottlenecks, and non-value-added activities through direct observation and data review
Lean & Six Sigma Program Support
- Assist in coordinating and preparing materials for Yellow Belt training sessions
- Support Yellow Belt candidates in developing and executing capstone improvement projects
- Contribute to DMAIC project phases (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) under Black Belt guidance
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, and process improvement logs
- Prepare visual reports, dashboards, and presentation decks for stakeholder updates
- Help build the Process Excellence knowledge base (templates, standard work, playbooks)
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related Engineering program
- Working knowledge of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and process flow documentation
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel); ability to create clear, professional process maps
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Lean, Six Sigma, or DMAIC methodology (coursework or certification a plus)
- ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other related systems
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
