The Talkdesk Enterprise Applications team is seeking a Jr. Scrum Master to join our team to help support and inspire our Enterprise Applications & Integrations systems teams. Reporting to the Director of IT PMO, you will play a crucial role in helping our teams effectively deliver enhancement requests, support requests, and daily operational demands, including impactful projects not managed by IT PMO.
Additionally, you will work closely with our teams to support the configuration, maintenance, and efficiency of Enterprise Applications Jira Software projects and Confluence spaces to help ensure we’re maximizing our teams capability, effectiveness and predictability. This role is critical as you are helping our teams deliver their best results, while helping them find balance and avoid burnout. You will help them identify areas where they can become more efficient, remove obstacles, and improve predictability.
As an Agile champion, you will help foster a culture of continuous improvement, where our teams are motivated and empowered to constantly enhance their practices and processes to achieve optimal results so we can effectively support our business partners and company vision. To be successful in this role, you should be an emotionally intelligent leader with excellent communication skills. You will need to have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum, as well as hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. You will inspire our team to continuously improve their processes and practices to deliver exceptional results for our business.

The main responsibilities of a SCRUM MASTER include:
SCRUM
- Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Act as a buffer between the development team and external distractions, protecting their focus on the prioritization of the backlog.
- Guide the team in Agile methodologies, including the Scrum framework, and help the team continuously improve their processes and practices.
- Identify and remove any impediments that may hinder the team's progress, such as technical or organizational barriers.
- Facilitate communication between the development team, product owner, and any other stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned.
JIRA/CONFLUENCE
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and efficiency of Enterprise Applications Jira Software projects and Confluence spaces.
- Managing dashboards and metrics, enabling our teams to track their effectiveness and progress.
- Provide guidance on how to leverage data to identify trends and insights that can drive continuous improvement.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience or proven proficiency working as a Scrum Master or Agile coach in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience working with Jira Software, Confluence and LucidSpark or Miro.
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong communications skills and able to uplift the team with compassionate and positive communication.
- Confidently communicate and present project status to IT committees as needed.
- Flexibility since our teams work across the US and also comfortable and experienced working on globally dispersed teams.
- Emotionally intelligent leader, able to communicate and coach up, helping to communicate agile methodologies and scrum processes to leaders and other team members.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Preferred: Scrum Master certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
