The Senior Product Analyst will be responsible for managing data requests from the product team, extracting and analyzing large datasets, and delivering impactful insights to internal teams and clients. This individual will be the go-to expert for SQL, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, and GQL, ensuring data is retrieved efficiently and translated into clear, actionable reports. The Senior Product Analyst will take ownership of complex reporting projects, optimize processes for automation, and help enhance the overall analytics function.

This role will work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Leadership teams to identify trends, improve reporting frameworks, and provide strategic guidance.

The main responsibilities of a SENIOR PRODUCT ANALYST include:

Data & Insights

  • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reporting frameworks to track key product usage metrics (adoption, retention, engagement, feature utilization, churn risk, etc.). Design, maintain, and enhance Looker Studio dashboards, Excel reports, and other data visualization tools.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and friction points in the user journey. Independently manage and prioritize high-impact data projects, applying judgment to balance competing business needs.

  • Perform business unit win/loss analysis, surfacing insights into why deals are won or lost and how product capabilities influence outcomes. Identify and communicate key trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex data sets.

  • Develop standardized reporting packages for product leadership to support roadmap prioritization and strategy.

  • Partner with Data Engineering/Analytics teams to ensure data integrity and define consistent product KPIs.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish repeatable processes for how the product organization consumes data (weekly business reviews, quarterly performance reports, release impact tracking).

  • Advise Product leadership with data-driven recommendations that influence roadmap and strategic prioritization

  • Identify and close gaps in product instrumentation, collaborating with engineering to improve tracking and logging of key events.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the central point of truth for product usage insights, ensuring stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success have access to accurate, timely data.

  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence and persuade cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders

  • Drive alignment on product performance metrics across teams to ensure consistency in reporting.

  • Analyze Google Analytics and GQL data to provide valuable insights and business recommendations.

  • Own reporting requests, collaborating with internal teams to deliver timely solutions.

  • Ensure accuracy in reporting and optimize workflows for efficiency and automation.

  • Be willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL – ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries.

  • Experience with Looker Studio, Excel, Google Analytics, and GQL.

  • Experience working with product data in the SAAS industry

  • Excellent data visualization skills with the ability to present insights in a clear and compelling way.

  • Strong communication skills, particularly in email correspondence and stakeholder interactions.

  • Exceptional ability to handle high-priority customer requests and provide strategic insights.

  • Proven ability to automate and optimize reporting processes for improved efficiency.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
