The main responsibilities of a SENIOR RETOUCHER include:

Delivering retouched imagery for print and digital artwork
-
Perform colour correction, skin and product retouching, compositing, and general image clean-up
-
Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Manage the weekly and campaign needs for ALDI, including timelines and budget allowances per shot
-
Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and other retouchers to achieve the creative vision
-
Manage other BMF clients’ retouching/post-production requirements
-
Advise the Photography studio on best approach for shooting regarding post-production needs

Digital image creation using AI tools
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Fluent in English reading and writing with strong communication skills
-
5+ years of professional retouching experience (studio, agency, or freelance)
-
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
-
Solid understanding of colour, lighting, and composition
-
Ability to take direction and also make creative decisions independently
-
Strong technical knowledge about print and digital imagery, including colour profiles, file formats, image resolutions, image resizing and production processes
-
General knowledge of photography and the photographic industry
-
Experience in and/or willingness to learn digital image creation using AI tools
-
Competent with a Wacom and Apple Mac OS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s certificate or other tertiary education in image-making disciplines is desirable.
Additional Information
Applications must include a CV and portfolio of before and after imagery.
Applicant must be available Mon – Fri 9 – 6pm AEST.
Applicants who meet the requirements will be required to interview and if successful will undergo a 2 hour skills test.

Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Planner etc.)

Comfortable working within Australian time zones (overlap required for communication and reviews)
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
