As a Senior Operations Analyst, you’ll serve as the operational backbone of our trading platform, ensuring seamless execution of green coffee transactions from origin to destination. From subscription verifications and trade processing to logistics tracking, data reconciliation, and process optimization, your work guarantees that every deal moves smoothly from seller to buyer. Based in Manila this role involves extensive collaboration with US, Europe, Americas managers, and our systems development team.

The main responsibilities of a SPANISH BILINGUAL OPERATIONS ANALYST ROLE include:

  • Trade and Contract Management: Monitor and process coffee trades and contracts across multiple origins (e.g., Latin America, Africa, Asia) and destinations, ensuring accurate execution, compliance with platform terms, pricing curves, and traceability standards. This role woiuld focus primarily on Latin American coffee producers, co-ops and exporters.
  • Logistics Coordination and Tracking: Track critical milestones (e.g., FOB loading, shipment dispatch, port arrival, customs clearance, delivery) and update systems in real-time; escalate disruptions to maintain end-to-end supply chain visibility and performance.
  • Documentation Workflows: Assist in generating, reviewing, and managing documentation such as contracts, commercial invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and phytosanitary certificates, ensuring regulatory compliance and platform integration.
  • Onboarding and KYC Support: Lead onboarding for new producers, exporters, importers, and roasters, handling KYC verifications, account setups, and platform training to accelerate ecosystem growth.
  • Data Reconciliation and Analytics: Reconcile transaction, payment, and logistics data across internal systems and third-party tools; generate operational performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards to identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, tech (including India-based development teams), and global leadership to troubleshoot platform issues, test features, and recommend enhancements for trade execution and automation.
  • Process Documentation and Optimization: Maintain, refine, and document SOPs, workflows, and playbooks; drive continuous improvements and automation to support scalable operations ahead of our January 2026 launch.
  • Global Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with diverse partners across time zones, resolving queries, building relationships, and ensuring alignment between Manila support, US/Europe/Americas managers, and international users.
  • Risk Monitoring: Proactively identify operational risks like payment discrepancies or logistics delays, contributing to mitigation strategies tied to our credit risk and traceability features.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Agriculture Economics, or a related business field. Certifications in operations, logistics (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma), or data analytics are advantageous.
  • Fluent English and Spanish speaker: able to communicate effectively with clients in both verbal and written formats in both languages.
  • Experience: 5+ years in trade operations, logistics, marketplace support, or B2B platforms, with hands-on expertise in high-volume transaction processing and global coordination. Experience in virtual, multi-time-zone teams preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for analysis and reporting; basic familiarity with databases, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), ERP systems, or SQL. Exposure to data visualization (e.g., Tableau) or logistics platforms is a plus.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data, diagnose issues, and develop logical, actionable solutions in dynamic environments.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English for global interactions; adept at cross-cultural collaboration with business and tech audiences, including direct communication with clients and partners to resolve operational issues or deliver performance insights.
    • Collaboration: Proven track record working with diverse internal (e.g., India dev teams) and external stakeholders across regions and time zones, balancing internal coordination with customer-facing responsiveness.
    • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with tools like Excel, SQL, and data analysis software to support reconciliation and reporting.
    • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive; thrives in startup ambiguity with a focus on efficiency and innovation. Passion for coffee, agriculture, supply chains, or fintech highly valued.

  • Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
  • 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
  • Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
  • Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
  • Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
  • Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
