As Project Manager for Athena Blue Global, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating projects from initiation through to completion. Your role will be to support the management of projects remotely.

You will be responsible for managing tenders, coordinating consultants and contractors, monitoring project programmes, and overseeing day-today project delivery activities. The role includes maintaining project documentation, driving stakeholder communication, and ensuring project milestones, risks, and actions are proactively managed.

This role also involves updating project budget and forecast trackers, preparing reports for internal and client teams, and managing daily duties across multiple live projects. Success in this position requires strong commercial awareness, organisation, communication skills, and the ability to keep projects on track across scope, programme, budget, and quality outcomes.

The main responsibilities of a SR PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (CONSTRUCTION) include:

Project Coordination

Project Delivery: Support project set-up activities, establish delivery programmes, and track milestones to ensure projects remain aligned with client and 
business objectives.

Tender Management: Coordinate tender preparation, issue documentation, manage tender queries, review submissions, and support recommendation 
reporting.

Budget and Forecast Management: Maintain project budget and forecast trackers, monitor cost movements, and prepare regular financial updates for 
internal and client reporting.

Risk and Reporting: Identify project risks and issues, maintain action registers, and prepare clear reporting to support decision-making.

Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to drive timely project outcomes and ensure effective 
communication across all stages.

Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project records including drawings, schedules, permits, contracts, RFIs, variations, and meeting records.

Meetings and Actions: Support project meetings by attending online, write and issue minutes, track action items, and escalate issues requiring 
leadership or client input.

Reporting: Prepare project reports, dashboards, and presentations for project teams, leadership, and clients as required.

 

Administration

Project Administration: Maintain filing systems, trackers, templates, and project correspondence to support consistent project delivery. Manage project 
set-up in Harvest, Forecast and Smartsheet for APAC and NAMER.

Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, reporting packs, tender summaries, and briefing notes for internal and client meetings.

Financial Administration: Support invoice processing, budget reconciliations, and regular updates to budget and forecast trackers.

Document Control: Draft, proof, format, and file project documents, reports, contracts, and tender submissions as required.

System Management: Monitor and regularly update project systems including SharePoint, Asana, Harvest, and internal budget/forecast trackers.

General Support: Assist the wider project team with operational tasks required to keep projects and reporting running efficiently

 

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

• 10 – 15 years’ experience in project management, contract administration, or project coordination within a consultancy, client-side, or 
construction environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Present professionally at all times.
• Experience with project systems and platforms such as SharePoint, Excel budget trackers, Harvest, Asana, or similar tools.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented: Able to manage multiple projects, track deadlines, maintain accurate records, and follow through on 
actions.
• Proactive and accountable: Takes ownership of project tasks, identifies risks early, and drives outcomes with minimal supervi sion.
• Strong communicator: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage client, consultant, contractor, and internal 
stakeholder relationships professionally.
• Commercially aware and adaptable: Comfortable managing budgets, forecasts, tender processes, and changing project priorities across 
multiple workstreams.
• Discreet and trustworthy: Able to handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism.
