CPA Firm in South Miami is seeking a candidate for a US Tax Preparer. The person in this position works directly with clients and the firm's team of professionals. This person will be autonomous to the tax department. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess good working knowledge of tax law, well organized, and have excellent communication skills.

The primary responsibility is preparing Income Tax Returns including forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1041, along with some state returns. The person will review client accounting, and make necessary adjustments and prepare financials statements. This position will also assist clients with IRS issues and write responses to the IRS. There will also be some payroll reporting, year-end reporting and administrative work as needed. We work as a team on these projects.

A successful candidate will possess:

•    C-Corp and S-Corp tax experience required
•    International, partnership and individual tax experience is required
•    Ability to manage and grow strong client relationships
•    Experience with tax technology a plus
•    Possess effective writing, communication and tax research skills
•    Knowledge of Subchapter C and consolidated returns required 
•    Knowledge of FAS 109 and FIN 48 is a plus
•    Multi-state experience is a plus
