The Supply Chain Business Analyst plays a critical role in enhancing GIS Procurement operational efficiency, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring data-driven decision-making. This role involves leveraging analytics, statistical modeling, volume forecasting, and market intelligence to manage and improve supply chain processes & tactics, with a focus effective utilization of tools such as D365.

Health Insurance/HMO Principal
Php 300,000 per illness per year upon hire of the employee.

Health Insurance/HMO Dependent
The employee shall be eligible to enroll three (3) free dependents upon hire and each dependent shall have a coverage of Php 300,000 per illness per year. HMO eligibility and hierarchy of dependents shall be subject to the guidelines and standards of the HMO provider.

Group Life Insurance
Employees hired between 18 to 64/65 years old and employed under probationary or regular status shall be covered by the Group Life Insurance (GLI) under the company’s service provider. The service provider shall pay to legitimately declared beneficiary/ies, with filial affinity, the corresponding amount indicated in the Schedule of Benefits (SOB). In the absence of declared beneficiaries, the hierarchy of next of kin or surviving class of beneficiaries shall apply.

MANAGER (18 to 65 Y/O) shall be covered with the amount of insurance for LIFE, 500,000. ABL, 30,000. ADDB, 500,000. UMA, 500,000. TPDL, 500,000, and LCB, 250,000. Exclusions from claiming this benefit are as follows: (1) Suicide within the first 12 months of coverage and (2) When employee enters the military service within the course of his/her employment and (3) other exclusions and exemptions as defined under the general guidelines of the GLI policy. Kindly refer to the exclusion sections. All legitimate claims shall be subject to the general guidelines and required documentations set by the service provider. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiture of any claims.

The main responsibilities of a SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS ANALYST include:

1. Supplier Performance Management

Develop, implement, and maintain supplier scorecards to evaluate performance metrics such as delivery timelines, quality standards, cost-efficiency, and compliance. Provide context driven reporting to stakeholders
Collaborate with suppliers to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Provide periodic performance reviews and insights to the procurement and management teams.


2. Market Intelligence and Analytics

Conduct in-depth market research and analyze trends to support strategic sourcing and supplier selection.
Develop a quarterly reporting dashboard highlighting important market trends and influences relevant to the GIS service model.
Monitor market developments, including raw material price fluctuations and geopolitical risks, to provide actionable insights.
Prepare comprehensive market intelligence reports to inform decision-making.
Design and Build a cost savings dashboard with specific focus on supply chain.
Collaborate with partners to implement a cost savings process for regular data capture.

3. Sustainability Data Analysis

Track and analyze sustainability metrics across the supply chain, including carbon footprint and waste management. Focus specifically on GIS impacts on Scopes 2 and 3.
Develop dashboards to monitor progress on sustainability goals and ensure alignment with corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) objectives.
Work closely with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and compliance with regulations.

4. D365 Data Management and Analysis

Utilize D365 tools to extract, clean, and analyze supply chain data for process improvement.
Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supplier interactions using D365.
Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of D365 functionalities.

5. Statistical Modeling for Materials Management

Build and maintain statistical models to optimize materials management and reduce inventory costs.
Use predictive analytics to forecast demand and manage supply chain risks.
Evaluate and improve warehousing strategies through data-driven recommendations.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with procurement, materials management, and operations teams to align supply chain initiatives with business objectives.
Act as a liaison between IT and supply chain teams to streamline system enhancements and reporting tools.
Partner with stakeholders to develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain processes.

7. Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the supply chain; with a focus on D365
Lead projects to implement new tools and methodologies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.


 

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

  • Proficiency in supply chain analytics and tools, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Sharepoint etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of sustainability practices and ESG frameworks.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable business intelligence from a Supply Chain perspective.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Effective in cross functional working with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) or data analytics is a plus.
  • Power BI certification.

The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
