The System Administrator is responsible for monitoring system performance and configuring new software and hardware. The Administrator should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems and hardware. The administrator will ensure our software, hardware, servers, and networks run smoothly.

The main responsibilities of a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR include:

• Perform daily system monitoring & operations, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
• Configure internal systems and hardware.
• Troubleshoots hardware, software, or performance problems on the systems network, server, and other digital assets.
• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request on servers and systems. Track and update administrative tools and utilities.
• Serves as contact person for user-reported problems and compiles reports on system performance and/or usage Installs and modifies hardware/software products for systems as required.
• Knows security is job one and includes security in all plans.
• Executes tasks aligned to projects in the operations space (upgrades, rollouts of technology, etc.)
• System administration activities may include but are not limited to system installation, configuration, integration, maintenance, performance management, data management, security management, failure analysis and recovery, and user support.

• Windows Active Directory
• Intermediate to advanced experience with the following AWS Services
• Cost optimization
• IAM
• CloudFront
• Cloud Formation
• VPC
• WAF
• Cognito
• EC2
• Security Inspector, Security Hub, etc..
• Experience with Atlassian (JIRA Service, JIRA Software, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Demonstrated experience in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of SQL Databases (MSSQL, PGSQL)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills can communicate technical concepts to a technical and non-technical audience.

 

The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements:

• Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
• Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
• 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
• Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth).
• Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
• Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
• Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team)
