The main responsibilities of a TECHNICAL CHIEF OF STAFF include:
Core Responsibilities
Technical & Tooling

Build and prototype concepts, internal tools, and system integrations
-
Deliver complete solutions, including the critical “last 20%” of execution

Demonstrate practical coding ability in Python and JavaScript
-
Utilize no-code platforms and AI-assisted development tools effectively
-
Design and implement AI-powered tools and process improvements across the business
Operational & Delivery

Drive projects to completion, especially when leadership bandwidth is limited
-
Identify and remove blockers to ensure timely and efficient delivery

Execute urgent, cross-functional priorities across marketing, engineering, and operations

Lead technical execution for business integrations and acquisitions

Coordinate and collaborate with offshore teams across Sydney- and Philippines-based teams
Context Absorption & Leadership Support

Quickly absorb business context through meetings, documentation, or AI-generated summaries

Anticipate leadership needs and proactively stay ahead of priorities
-
Represent leadership with sound judgment and professionalism when required
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
NON-NEGOS:
AI knowledge and experience Understanding of coding (will not be writing manually)
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
NICE-TO-HAVES:
Experience with Cursor Knowledge of PHP,
Javascript Experience in a startup or fast‑moving environment.
Exposure to media, publishing, or SaaS businesses.
Experience working across distributed teams.
Background in technical project delivery or product roles.
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
