The main responsibilities of a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER include:
Requirement Engineering: Lead discovery sessions with clients to gather functional and
technical requirements. Produce and secure sign-offs for foundational technical documents,
including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), User Stories, User Flows, and Functional
Specifications.
• Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in
collaboration with senior management. Lead sprint planning, manage backlogs, and ensure
resource availability across Dev, UI/UX, and QA.
• Resource Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams; allocate human and
financial resources effectively. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives,
Sprint Reviews) and manage JIRA boards to reflect real-time progress.
• Execution & Monitoring: Track project milestones and deliverables using industry-standard
tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or Monday.com).
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Actively participate in
technical discussions and propose creative workarounds or alternative solutions when technical
debt, tool limitations, or resource constraints threaten project timelines.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular
status updates and managing expectations.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project outcomes meet the required specifications and pass
rigorous internal standards.
• Reporting: Generate weekly/bi-weekly governance reports, including "Sunrise and Sunset"
updates for high-priority accounts.
• Development: Attend all requested meetings/training with team, manager, clients,
etc. Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary. Provide feedback on the
efficiency of the project management process.
• Other duties, as assigned
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
Experience: 5–6 years in IT Project Management, specifically within E-commerce environments.
• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in managing system integrations and data migration
projects.
• Methodology: Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall frameworks.
• Tools: Expert-level proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional comprehension skills with the ability to translate complex technical
jargon into business-friendly language.
• Analytical Mindset: Proactive problem-solver who prioritizes "unblocking" the development
team.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
Strategic Troubleshooting: The ability to look at a technical blocker and suggest a "Plan B"
that maintains project velocity.
• Critical Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture" while managing the granular details.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot when project requirements change.
• Empathy: Understanding the pressures on your team and fostering a culture of accountability
without burnout
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
