The Technical Sales Engineer – Generalist (TSE Generalist) is responsible for the effective execution of standard client proposals and supports the sales process through accurate, timely, and well-structured responses to standard RFQs and RFPs. This role focuses on proposal coordination, and requires foundational technical and commercial analytical skills.

The main responsibilities of a TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER - GENERALIST include:
Duties may include the following:
- Proposal Execution & Coordination
- Manage assigned RFQs and RFPs in accordance with client terms and conditions and internal guidelines.
- Coordinate inputs from internal contributors, assign deadlines, and compile proposal responses on time.
- Translate customer needs using the Project Intake Form (“PIF”) into clear, actionable proposal components.
- Work with SMEs to develop standard Scopes of Work (“SOWs”).
- Technical & Commercial Support
- Prepare labor estimates and costing using automated pricing tools by following established guidelines
- Support coordination with Executive Leadership for pricing approvals as required.
- Evaluate technical requirements and develop compliant, clear, and competitive proposal responses.
- Participate in client interactions when needed to clarify proposal assumptions or scope.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate proposal records within the Proposal ID Tracker and CRM tools.
- Attend project hand-off meetings to ensure proper transfer of proposal details to delivery teams.
- Incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to improve proposal quality continuously.
- Development & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, templates, and documentation.
- Build proposal writing, technical understanding, and commercial knowledge through hands-on experience.
- Coordinate with the Director Sales Operations to help maintain and update the CEA proposal library.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (4+ years experience).

Minimum of 2+ years of technical background in a customer-facing role in a technical field.

Minimum of 2+ years in a customer-facing role; in the Renewable Energy industry is preferred.

Direct renewable energy industry (and especially solar or storage) work experience is a plus.

Experience writing proposals and developing scopes of work.

Proactive behavior, “Can do”/“Get it done” attitude.

Excellent verbal and technical writing skills in English.

Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Possess good problem-solving, organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

Skilled in multitasking and concurrently managing multiple projects.

Knowledge of CRM software, specifically Hubspot and/or Deltek is a plus.

Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with interdisciplinary teams of colleagues and external parties

Must be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environment as well as work on self-directed independent projects.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience with CRM software and project management tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to navigate and lead within a matrix organization.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the capacity to think outside the box.
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends and pricing strategies.
- Leadership qualities and experience in guiding teams indirectly.
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
