Lucihub is a video production platform that combines the power of AI and real editors to deliver high quality videos and speed and scale. The role of the video editor at Lucihub will create visually striking videos aligned with the clients goals and messaging, quickly delivering top-tier content for various social media platforms including: Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok and Youtube. The candidate will work on a variety of video types including corporate communications, HR videos, educational/training content, product videos, social medial clips, and corporate reels. The candidate must have meticulous attention to rythm, flow and detail of the visual narrative and a comprehensive understanding of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. This role demands the ability to produce high-quality content with short deadlines to meet the dynamic needs of our clients. The main responsibilities of a VIDEO EDITOR include:
- Edit video footage, ensuring seamless transitons, audio synchronization, and visual continuity.
- Incorporate creative storytelling techniques, such as cuts, transitions, overlays, effects, and motion graphics to enhance video content and maintain viewer engagement.
- Enhance video quality through color correction, color grading, and adjusting lighting and audio levels.
- Utilize video editing software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software advancements, and industry trends to continuously improve video quality and storytelling.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously ensuring quick delivery to meet project deadlines.
- Understands branding guidelines and how to utilize a company’s style guides such as fonts, colors, and logos.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in video editing,
- At least 4 years of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Must provide a portfolio demonstrating editing proficiency.
- Ideal portfolio content includes:
- Corporate communications videos
- HR-related videos
- Educational or training content
- Other corporate-type videos
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and industry-standard best practices.
- Knowledge of visual storytelling, compositon, color theory, and audio editing techniques.
- Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and export settings for different platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.
- Experience with assuming ownership and delivering quickly in a fast- paced, deadline-driven environment.
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Adaptability to AI Tools – Willingness to learn and integrate AI-powered editing tools.
- Motion Graphics & Animation – Capable of building graphics from scratch.
- Experience with Short-Form Content – Familiarity with editing for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Client Communication – Ability to understand feedback and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
The successful candidate must submit the following pre-employment requirements
- Scanned copy of valid NBI Clearance
- Accomplished Medical or PEME Slip (covered by KMC)
- 2x2 & Half body picture with white background
- Proof of government numbers (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth)
- Photocopy of 2 valid IDs – front & back (government-issued)
- Clear copy of your Birth Certificate (PSA or NSO)
- Accomplished HR Forms & Promissory Note (will be provided by KMC’s Onboarding Team
